Sydney Chicco C5 Lightweight Stroller - 61415.62About a year ago, we bought a Chicco C5 Stroller from Babies R Us. I know it was that long ago because, later that day, we bought a Christmas tree. Anyway, not long afterward, our small slumpy (6-month old) baby started slumping in the seat if we didn’t place blankets just so.

I was lazy and did nothing about this problem for months…and then one day I noticed that the design flaw had been fixed (while on a routine visit to Babies R Us for sippy cups and age-appropriate cutlery for my 14-month old). Grrr. Long story short, I emailed Chicco USA and told them my problem with the stroller and, with very few hassles, they sent me a replacement one. And with a cup-holder to boot!

Stuff I like about the new Chicco C5:

  • Easy to fold, lightweight
  • Rain shield and cupholder standard
  • Decent under-basket for carrying my junk
  • Decent sun shade not found on many umbrella strollers

Stuff I don’t like about the new Chicco C5:

  • Still a little slumpy (but for my now 19-month old, this is less of an issue)
  • No room for the new baby; too portable to add a ride-along-board

Thanks for the great customer service, Chicco!
[Note: Whitney was right, they pronounce it kiko, ok?]

The Chicco seems like a great stroller. I did look at it closely when doing my research. I ended up buying a Maclaren in the end but the Chicco was the next best choice on my list!
