Hi,

Loved your list -- unique gift ideas I never would have heard of! thanks! I've already bookmarked your blog for future reference.

I would like to tell you about one of my favorite gifts that falls in several of your categories above (parents, grandparents, friends, children). It's a book called "Together: Creating Family Traditions" by Davis and Oakes.

It provides a family with the most precious gift of all in this crazy, busy world -- time together making memories. It is beautifully written and is full of ideas, crafts and recipes for families to participate in. It's not just for the holidays either -- I've given it as a gift all year round and everyone raves about it.

Hope you have a chance to check it out yourself. (fyi a sample page of the book can be found here: http://www.togetherparenting.com/book)

Cheers & Happy Holidays,
Linda
